Tôi nghe như vầy:
Một thời đức Phật trú tại vườn Cấp Cô Độc, rừng cây Kỳ-đà, nước Xá-vệ.
Bấy giờ, Thế Tôn bảo các Tỳ-kheo:
“Ở trong chúng này Ta không thấy một pháp nào đã tu, tu nhiều, mà thành hạnh địa ngục, thành hạnh súc sanh, thành hạnh ngạ quỷ; nếu sinh vào cõi người, sống tại gia gian dâm không có tịnh hạnh, bị người chê bai, và thường bị phỉ báng. Một pháp gì? Đó là tà dâm.”
Phật bảo các Tỳ-kheo:
“Nếu có người nào dâm dật vô độ, thích xâm phạm vợ người, liền bị đọa vào địa ngục, ngạ quỷ, súc sinh; nếu sinh vào cõi người thì khuê môn dâm loạn.
“Cho nên, này các Tỳ-kheo, hãy thường chánh ý, chớ khởi ý tưởng dâm. Cẩn thận chớ xâm phạm vợ người.
“Như vậy, này các Tỳ-kheo, hãy học điều này.”
Các Tỳ-kheo sau khi nghe những gì đức Phật dạy, hoan hỷ phụng hành.
聞如是：
一時，佛在舍衛國祇樹給孤獨 T 0576b21園。
爾時，世尊告諸比丘：「於此眾中，不見 T 0576b22一法修行已、多修行已，成地獄、餓鬼、畜生 T 0576b23行。若生人中，居家姦婬，無有淨行，為人 T 0576b24所譏，常被誹謗。云何一法？所謂邪婬也。」
佛 T 0576b25告諸比丘：「若有人婬泆無度，好犯他妻，便 T 0576b26墮地獄、餓鬼、畜生中。若生人中，閨門婬亂。 T 0576b27是故，諸比丘！常當正意，莫興婬想，慎莫 T 0576b28他婬。如是，諸比丘！當作是學。」
爾時，諸比丘 T 0576b29聞佛所說，歡喜奉行。

SC 2It was then that the Bhagavān addressed the monks, “I don’t see anything in this assembly like one thing that when cultivated and cultivated often accomplishes the actions of Hell, actions of hungry ghosts, and actions of animals. If they were born among humans, a person will be made to live in a household where adultery is practiced, that lacks pure living. People will gossip and constantly slander them. SC 4“Therefore, monks, one should always be right minded. Don’t produce notions of lust, and take care not to have such relations with others. Thus, monks, you should train yourselves.”
SC 5When the monks heard what the Buddha taught, they rejoiced and approved.
