Tôi nghe như vầy:
Một thời, Phật ở tại vườn Cấp cô độc, rừng cây Kỳ-đà, nước Xá-vệ. Bấy giờ, Thế Tôn nói với các Tỳ-kheo:
“Do có cái gì, do khởi cái gì, do hệ lụy cái gì, do đắm đuối cái gì, do thấy ngã nơi cái gì, khiến cho chúng sanh thấy như vầy, nói như vầy: ‘Như vậy, ta và cái kia, tất cả không phải hai, không phải khác, bất diệt?’”
Các Tỳ-kheo bạch Phật:
“Thế Tôn là gốc pháp, là mắt pháp, là sở y của pháp (…).”
Chi tiết thứ tự như ba kinh trên (kinh 139, 140, 141).
如是我聞：
一時，佛住舍衛國祇樹給孤T 0043c16獨園。
爾時，世尊告諸比丘：「何所有故，何所T 0043c17起？何所繫著，何所見我？令諸眾生作如是T 0043c18見、如是說：『如是我、彼，一切不二、不異、不滅。』？」
T 0043c19諸比丘白佛：「世尊是法根、法眼、法依……」如是T 0043c20廣說，次第如上三經。
T 0043c21Thus have I heard. At one time the Buddha was staying at Sāvatthī in Jeta's Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's Park.
At that time the Blessed One said to the monks: “The existence of what is the cause, by clinging to what, by being fettered and attached to what, by seeing what as the self, do living beings have a view like this and speak like this: 'In this way myself and another are entirely not two, not different, no less than that?'”
The monks said to the Buddha: “The Blessed One is the root of the Dharma, the eye of the Dharma, the foundation of the Dharma …” to be recited fully in the same way in the sequence of the above three discourses.
